A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter a phone number using 7–15 digits; common separators are accepted.
  2. Optionally add a message within the UTF-8 byte limits.
  3. Generate and scan the QR code to review the message before sending.

Standard SMS link payload

The QR encodes an sms: URI with the normalized number and an optional percent-encoded body. Scanner and messaging app behavior can vary by device.

Bounded local generation

The phone input is limited to 64 UTF-8 bytes, the message to 1,800 UTF-8 bytes, and the complete encoded payload to 2,048 UTF-8 bytes. A fixed 512 px QR image is generated in this browser.

Review before sending

This tool does not place a call or send a text. Scan the code and confirm the recipient and message in your messaging app. Inputs are not uploaded or saved by this tool.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does scanning send the text automatically?

No. The QR opens a draft when supported. Review it and send it yourself.

Why can a QR reader show different behavior?

Support for sms: links and body parameters depends on the phone, scanner, and messaging app.

Are the phone number and message uploaded?

No. The payload and QR image are generated locally in your browser.
