Formula and units
D = U / A (LU/ha); S = A / U (ha/LU)
Scope and limitations
Enter an already converted LU total, not animal headcount. LU definitions vary by scheme and country; use a consistent definition and area basis. Arithmetic only: no recommended density, pasture capacity, animal-health or regulatory assessment.
Input and precision
Enter positive finite livestock units and area, each no greater than 1,000,000,000. Results use floating-point arithmetic and display up to four decimal places; rounding does not improve accuracy.
