A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose an SVG no larger than 2 MB.
  2. Review the discovered fill and stroke colors and choose replacements.
  3. Apply changes, inspect the sanitized preview, and download the SVG.

Exact color scope

The editor changes literal hex colors in fill/stroke attributes and inline style declarations. It does not resolve CSS classes, variables, gradients, currentColor, named colors, or color functions.

Safety boundary

SVGs containing scripts, event handlers, foreign content, external references, stylesheets, or URL paint references are rejected rather than previewed. No URL is fetched.

Bounded local editing

One file up to 2 MB, 5,000 elements, and 64 unique editable colors is accepted. Parsing, preview, and download stay in the browser.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Will gradients be recolored?

No. Gradient and URL paints are outside the literal hex fill/stroke scope.

Why was my SVG rejected?

It may be malformed, too large, too complex, or contain active or external content.

Is the original file overwritten?

No. The tool creates a new download.
