Common questions

What archive limits apply?

Compressed input is limited to 20 MiB, the decompressed TAR to 64 MiB, and the archive to 2,000 records. Paths and GNU long names also have byte limits.

Which TAR entries are accepted?

Only ordinary files, directories, and GNU long filenames are accepted. Links, PAX, sparse files, and other extensions are rejected.

Are archive contents uploaded?

No. Reading is local, and files are downloaded individually using their basename.
