Text Jaccard Words
Paste two text blocks to compare their case-insensitive, Unicode word sets locally.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste one text block in each field.
- Compare the unique-word sets locally.
- Review the intersection, union, and Jaccard percentage.
Set-based words
Words are normalized with Unicode NFKC, lowercased, and read as runs of Unicode letters or numbers. Repeated words count once.
Defined empty inputs
Two empty word sets score 100%; an empty set compared with a non-empty set scores 0%.
Local and bounded
Both inputs stay in this browser. Each input is limited to 50,000 UTF-16 code units and 10,000 parsed words.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Do repeated words increase the score?
No. Jaccard similarity compares sets, so each normalized word counts once.
How are words recognized?
Unicode letters and numbers form words; punctuation and symbols separate them.
What happens when both inputs are empty?
The two empty sets are defined as identical and score 100%.
