Text Remove Empty Lines
Paste text, choose whether whitespace-only lines count as empty, and remove matching lines in your browser.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste up to 100,000 UTF-16 characters and 50,000 lines.
- Choose whether to remove only truly empty lines or whitespace-only lines too.
- Remove matching lines, then copy or download the result.
Explicit empty-line rules
A truly empty line has zero characters. With whitespace-only removal enabled, a line is empty when its Unicode whitespace is removed with trim(); other line content is preserved exactly.
Line endings and bounds
LF, CRLF, and CR are accepted. The first detected separator is used between retained lines; a trailing newline is represented by a final empty line and is removed only when that line matches the selected rule. Input is limited to 100,000 UTF-16 characters and 50,000 lines.
Local processing
Text stays in this browser and is never uploaded.
