Text to CSV Column Mapper
Paste delimited rows, choose source columns and their output order, then create CSV locally without uploading or executing text.
Double-quoted fields may contain the delimiter or line breaks. Use one-based indexes such as 2,1,3.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste rows using the chosen input delimiter; quoted delimiters and newlines are supported.
- Enter output column indexes in the order you want, such as 2,1,3.
- Generate and copy the CSV result.
CSV-safe output
Output fields are quoted when they contain commas, quotes, or line breaks; quotes inside fields are doubled. Input parsing supports quoted delimiters and quoted line breaks using the selected delimiter.
Explicit mapping
Mapping uses one-based source column indexes. Rows shorter than the requested index produce an empty output field. This tool transforms tabular text and does not execute or upload content.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Can quoted fields contain commas or newlines?
Yes. The parser honors double-quoted fields, doubled quotes, the selected delimiter, and line breaks inside quotes.
How do I reorder columns?
Enter one-based indexes separated by commas, such as 3,1,2.
Does this upload my text?
No. Parsing and CSV generation happen locally.
