Common questions
Why is the voice list empty at first?
Some browsers provide voices asynchronously. The list refreshes when the browser reports that voices are available; you can also reload the list.
Can I download the spoken audio?
No. The browser speech API plays the utterance but does not provide an audio file for download here.
Is my text sent to a server?
Hello Keyboard Tools does not upload it. How a selected system voice processes speech is controlled by your browser and operating system.
