Local decode and WAV export
The source file stays in this browser. Web Audio decoding and WAV writing happen on your device; no upload, server conversion, or account is involved. Export uses standard uncompressed 16-bit WAV, so the result can be larger than the source MP3 or M4A.
Defined limits and compatibility
Files are limited to 40 MB and 15 minutes. The decoded audio is limited to 256 MB of PCM memory; mono or stereo at up to 96 kHz is supported. Exports are capped at 120 MB. The browser must be able to decode the selected file, so support for M4A/AAC, Ogg, and WebM can vary by browser.

Common questions
Will the output keep my source format?
No. This tool exports a 16-bit WAV so it can perform the trim entirely in the browser without an encoder library. WAV is uncompressed and may be larger than the original file.
Why can’t I select a particular audio file?
A file must match the listed type and be decodable by your current browser. Browser support for M4A/AAC, Ogg, and WebM differs; standard MP3 and WAV are usually the most portable choices.
Does the audio leave my device?
No. The file is read, decoded, trimmed, previewed, and exported locally in the browser.
