Upside Down Text
Enter text to create a copyable upside-down Unicode version. Mapped characters are replaced and the whole input is reversed; unsupported characters stay unchanged.
Upside down text
Enter up to 2,000 characters.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Enter text in the input box.
- Review the reversed output and the mapped-character coverage note.
- Copy the result for places that support Unicode text.
Fixed character mapping
A deterministic map replaces selected Latin letters and punctuation with Unicode lookalikes. Unmapped characters stay unchanged; this is a text effect rather than geometric rotation.
Coverage and limitations
Only characters in the fixed map change. Unicode code points are reversed individually, so combining marks and complex grapheme clusters may display unexpectedly. Text is processed in the browser.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does it support every language?
No. Only characters in the fixed map change; unsupported characters remain as entered.
Why is the result reversed?
The effect reverses character order as well as replacing selected glyphs.
Is this a rotated font?
No. It uses Unicode lookalike characters, whose appearance depends on the font and app.
