Formula and units
Contribution = unit price − unit variable cost. Count = ceiling(fixed cost ÷ contribution). Revenue at that count = count × unit price.

Use fixed costs and unit costs for the same accounting period. Revenue is the income at the smallest whole count covering fixed cost, which may exceed the exact continuous break-even point. No prices, demand forecasts or business recommendations are supplied.

Common questions
How is the whole count rounded?
The tool computes the ceiling using exact decimal input arithmetic, avoiding floating-point rounding at integer boundaries. Counts above the safe integer range are rejected.
