Veterinary Litter Growth Comparison Calculator

Calculate each animal's observed grams per day from two weights and its observation duration, then compare the measured rates.

In-browser processingNo account requiredPrivacy details ↗

Each rate (g/day) = (last weight g − first weight g) ÷ elapsed days. Minimum and maximum compare these measured rates.

Negative changes are retained. This compares interval averages, not normal or abnormal thresholds, health diagnoses or expected growth. Different observation periods and measurement conditions can limit comparison. Clinical interpretation belongs to the veterinary professional.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter 1–100 lines, each with first weight, last weight and positive elapsed days separated by commas.
  2. Use comparable measurements for the same individual on each line, then calculate.
  3. Calculate, then copy the report or download TXT.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Are negative rates rejected?

No. A lower final weight gives a negative rate and is reported without a health classification.

Does the highest rate mean healthiest?

No. Minimum and maximum only describe the entered observations. They do not rank health or establish growth targets.
