Formula and units
Area count = floor(available m² ÷ required m² per animal). Payload count = floor(available kg ÷ kg per animal). Final count is the smaller of the two. Entered decimal values are divided exactly before rounding down.
Scope
Available area and payload must be nonnegative; per-animal area and weight must be positive. You supply all requirements. No species defaults, regulatory limits or recommended load are supplied. Geometry, vehicle suitability and animal welfare are not assessed.
