Weighted Grade Calculator

Calculate exact category contributions, completed averages and required remaining scores with your declared bounds.

In-browser processingNo account requiredPrivacy details ↗

Bounds and score scale are user supplied. No letter grades or school policy. Empty score and weight pairs are unused; completed categories require both, remaining categories require weight and an empty score. Zero weights contribute zero. Full-course weight must not exceed 100; inverse requires 100% allocation. Parsing resource limits: each numeric text is at most 512 characters; scientific exponent magnitude is at most 1000; displayed decimal places are integers from 0 to 100. At most 500 component/category rows, comparison lines and scenario lines per respective list. Exceeding a limit is rejected without truncation; exact fractions are exported in full. These are parsing limits, not caps on business quantities.

Relative: Σ(score × weight) ÷ total weight. Full course: Σ(score × weight) ÷ 100. Required remaining average = (target × denominator − completed weighted sum) ÷ remaining weight. Display rounding is half away from zero; exact fractions included.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose relative or full-course weights, score bounds and a scale. Enter named completed/remaining categories and optional targets.
  2. Calculate and review every contribution and scenario.
  3. Copy the fixed report or download UTF-8 TXT.
