A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste lines containing M:SS or H:MM:SS timestamps and a chapter title.
  2. Review sorted chapters and any unparsed, duplicate, or rule-warning lines.
  3. Copy or download the formatted chapter list for your own review.

Local timestamp parsing

The browser finds M:SS or H:MM:SS timestamps anywhere in each non-empty line and keeps the remaining line text as the title. Lines without a valid timestamp are flagged for review.

Reviewable chapter rules

The tool reports whether the list starts at 00:00, has at least three chapters, contains duplicates, and keeps at least 10 seconds between neighboring chapters. Sorting makes the output ascending; warnings are guidance, not a claim that YouTube will accept the result.

Copy and download in your browser

Parsing, formatting, copying, and TXT download happen locally. Your pasted notes are not uploaded or stored by this page.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

What timestamp formats are supported?

Use M:SS or H:MM:SS, with optional leading zeroes. A timestamp may appear anywhere in a line.

Does this guarantee YouTube will accept my chapters?

No. It checks common chapter rules and reports issues for review, but it does not submit to or validate against YouTube.

What happens to lines without timestamps?

They remain visible in the report as unparsed lines and are left out of the formatted chapter output until you fix them.
