- Choose the base PDF and the PDF whose pages should appear on top.
- Enter explicit base:overlay page mappings, then choose scale, alignment, and opacity.
- Create, review, and download the re-serialized overlay PDF.
Explicit page mapping
Mappings use base:overlay page numbers, such as 1:1, 3:2. One overlay is drawn on each selected base page. Fit preserves the overlay page’s aspect ratio; Stretch fills the base page. Alignment applies when fitting leaves space.
Visual overlay, not redaction
This tool draws an embedded overlay page over existing visible content. It does not remove, permanently conceal, redact, or make underlying text and objects unrecoverable. Use a dedicated redaction workflow for permanent removal.
Privacy and document limits
Files are selected, read, embedded, and saved locally in the browser; no document bytes are uploaded. Each source is limited to 50 MB and 100 pages, combined sources to 100 MB, output to 120 MB, and source plus output to 256 MB. Encrypted, signed, XFA, and unreadable PDFs are rejected.
Re-serialized output
The download is a new application/pdf serialization. It can change internal object ordering and does not preserve digital signatures, encryption, or every advanced PDF feature. Review the output before sharing it.

Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. PDF bytes are processed only in your browser and the download uses a temporary local object URL.
Can this permanently hide information?
No. An overlay is visual drawing only. The content below may still be extractable or visible after the overlay is removed or altered.
Why is a protected or signed PDF rejected?
This tool does not bypass encryption and re-serializing a signed PDF would invalidate its signature. Remove protection only when you are authorized to do so.
What happens when pages have different sizes or rotations?
Fit preserves the overlay aspect ratio within the base page and Stretch fills it. The base page keeps its own dimensions and rotation; review the result in a PDF reader before using it.
