Remove PDF Metadata
在浏览器中使用「Remove PDF Metadata」完成文字与文档相关任务;输入内容和结果默认在设备上处理。
使用步骤
如何使用
- Choose one standard, unencrypted PDF from your device.
- Review which supported Info fields were found.
- Remove those supported fields and download the rewritten PDF.
A specific, verifiable metadata boundary
This tool physically removes these standard entries from the PDF Info dictionary when present: Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Creator, Producer, CreationDate, and ModDate. After saving, it reloads the result and verifies that none of those eight entries remains.
Metadata it does not remove
It does not inspect, synchronize, or remove XMP metadata, custom Info entries, embedded-file properties, attachments, form data, annotations, JavaScript, document IDs, or reader- and vendor-private metadata. A PDF can still contain information outside the eight supported entries.
Local processing and protected PDFs
The selected PDF is read and rewritten locally with pdf-lib and is never uploaded. Encrypted, password-protected, signed, XFA, damaged, and oversized PDFs are refused because rewriting may invalidate or lose protected document data.
常见问题
你可能还想知道
Does this remove all PDF metadata?
No. It removes only eight standard PDF Info fields and verifies their absence in the rewritten result. XMP, attachments, custom fields, document IDs, and application-private metadata are outside this tool’s scope.
Which fields are removed?
Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Creator, Producer, CreationDate, and ModDate, when those entries are present in the standard Info dictionary.
Why is my PDF refused?
Password-protected, encrypted, signed, XFA, malformed, and unsupported PDFs are refused. Keep the original PDF and use an unsigned, standard PDF if you want to remove the supported Info fields.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Reading, rewriting, verification, previewing, and download happen locally in the browser.
