A bounded scan appearance
The tool renders local PDF pages or a single browser-decodable image, then applies rotation, brightness, contrast, blur, noise, optional grayscale, and a paper border. It creates a new image-based PDF; it does not add OCR or preserve editable text.
Local processing and limits
Input bytes, page count, decoded pixels, per-page pixels, and output size are bounded to keep work in browser memory. Encrypted, password-protected, damaged, animated, and unsupported inputs are refused or reduced to their browser-decoded still image.
What the output does not claim
This is a visual scan-effect converter, not an OCR, signature, authenticity, or document-fidelity tool. Links, annotations, forms, signatures, metadata, and selectable text are not preserved in the image-only PDF.

No. Decoding, rendering, effects, PDF creation, and download stay in this browser.
Will the result keep selectable text or form fields?
No. Each output page is a raster image. Keep the original when you need searchable text, links, forms, signatures, or metadata.
