Defined YAML and TOML boundaries
The YAML root must be a mapping. Strings, booleans, finite numbers, arrays, and nested mappings are supported; null values are rejected because TOML has no native null type. YAML aliases and standard scalar parsing are handled by the local YAML parser.
Keys, depth, and local processing
Bare TOML keys use letters, numbers, underscores, or hyphens. Other YAML key names are quoted. Nested values are limited to eight levels to keep output readable and bounded. Parsing, conversion, copying, and download preparation happen in your browser.

Can I convert a top-level YAML sequence?
No. TOML documents require named keys, so the YAML root must be a mapping.
Why is null rejected?
TOML has no native null value. Replace null with a concrete value or remove that key before converting.
Are nested mappings supported?
Yes. They are emitted as inline tables up to eight nested levels, and keys with punctuation are quoted.
