Add Comma to End of Every Line
Paste lines to add a trailing comma locally. Trailing spaces are removed from non-empty lines, blank lines stay blank, and lines that already end with a comma are left unchanged.
Non-empty lines receive one trailing comma. Trailing spaces are removed; blank lines, line endings, and existing commas are preserved.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste text with one value per line.
- Run the formatter to add commas to non-empty lines.
- Review and copy the resulting text.
Line-based formatting
Each line is handled independently. Leading whitespace is kept, trailing whitespace is removed from non-empty lines, and a comma is added only when the trimmed line does not already end with one.
Line endings and blank lines
LF, CRLF, and CR line endings are preserved. Empty lines remain empty, including a final empty line.
Local processing and limit
Processing happens in your browser. Inputs are limited to 100,000 characters so the page stays responsive.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Will an existing comma be duplicated?
No. A line that already ends with a comma after trailing whitespace is left with one comma.
Are blank lines changed?
No. Blank lines remain blank.
Does it preserve CRLF line endings?
Yes. The formatter keeps the input line-ending style and each separator.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Formatting and copying happen locally in your browser.
