A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste up to 50,000 characters of text.
  2. Choose whether matching should ignore case.
  3. Find adjacent groups of at least two words and review the source phrases.

A narrow, explainable match

The finder extracts word-like runs that contain Latin letters, compares their first A–Z letter, and reports consecutive runs of at least two matching words. Case is ignored by default and punctuation or whitespace between words does not break a group.

Not a pronunciation engine

Words such as “photo” and “phone” may match on p even when their sounds differ, while true sound based alliteration can be missed. The result is a letter initial approximation, not phonetic or linguistic analysis.

Local text processing

Parsing and grouping happen in your browser. The page does not upload, save, or rewrite your source text.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does it check pronunciation?

No. It compares the first Latin letter only. Use the result as an editing hint and listen to the words yourself.

Do punctuation and line breaks separate groups?

No. Punctuation, spaces, and line breaks between word-like runs are ignored, so adjacent words can still belong to one group.

How many words are needed?

A reported group contains at least two consecutive words with the same first Latin letter.
