EAN-13 uses 95 modules, plus blank quiet zones of 11 modules left and 7 right. Module width is 1–5 pixels; bar height is 80–200 pixels. Maximum canvas: 565 × 320 pixels; PNG export limit: 2 MiB.
A valid checksum does not prove an ISBN was assigned, a book was published, or a publisher record exists. The 1+6+6 readable groups are barcode layout, not ISBN registration groups. No price add-on, SVG, print sizing or scanner qualification is provided.

Common questions
Which ISBN formats are accepted?
ISBN-10 has nine digits and a final digit or X, checked modulo 11. ISBN-13 must start 978 or 979 and pass the alternating 1/3 modulo-10 check. Neither format is checked against allocation registries.
Will this barcode scan or print correctly?
The tool draws the standard EAN-13 bit pattern and quiet zones, but it does not measure scanner performance, physical print size or print quality. Color contrast warnings are visual heuristics only.
Does it include book information or a price code?
No. It encodes only the checked 13-digit number, with optional matching readable digits. It does not retrieve title/publisher data or add a supplemental price barcode.
