Estimate model
Pages per sheet = 2 × 2^f. Pages per signature = pages per sheet × sheets per signature. Signatures = ceil(body pages ÷ pages per signature); final-signature blanks fill the difference.
Scope boundary
This estimates print quantity only. It does not calculate an actual imposition diagram, grain direction, binding safety margin, trim, creep, press layout or finishing plan. Endpaper pages are converted to sheets by rounding up; waste is applied to the combined body and endpaper sheets.
