Separators become boundaries, the first word starts lowercase, and each later word starts uppercase. Unicode letters and numbers are kept; mixed case inside a word is normalized.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter or paste text.
  2. Review the live camelCase result.
  3. Copy the result or clear the input.

Conversion rule

The tool extracts runs of Unicode letters, marks, and numbers. It lowercases each word, keeps the first word lowercase, and uppercases the first Unicode code point of every later word.

Boundaries and Unicode

Spaces, punctuation, symbols, emoji, and line breaks are separators. Existing camelCase is treated as one word, so internal case boundaries are not split. Scripts without case remain unchanged; Unicode case mappings may expand a character.

Local processing

Conversion and copying run in your browser. Text is not uploaded or stored.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

What becomes a word boundary?

Any run of Unicode letters, combining marks, or numbers is a word; everything else separates words.

Does it split existing camelCase?

No. Case boundaries inside a word are preserved as one token before normalization.

Is text uploaded?

No. Processing stays local in this browser.
