Frequency table
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste one number per line or separate numbers with commas or spaces.
- Enter a positive bin width.
- Review the counts and download the frequency table if needed.
Defined bin boundaries
The first bin begins at the width multiple at or below the smallest value. Bins use [lower, upper) boundaries, so a value on an edge belongs to the next bin. Intermediate zero-count bins are kept visible.
Bounded local processing
Enter up to 50,000 finite numbers. The width must be positive, and the resulting table is limited to 1,000 bins. Input and report stay in your browser.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Where does the first bin start?
At the largest multiple of the bin width that is less than or equal to the smallest input value.
Which bin receives a value on a boundary?
The bin starting at that boundary. For width 10, value 20 is in [20, 30).
