Random CSV Generator
Create small CSV datasets for import checks, demos, and development. Choose dimensions and value style, then copy or download the generated data.
Random CSV settings
Values are generated locally. Limits: 100 columns, 10,000 rows, 50,000 cells, and 2 MB.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Choose the number of columns and data rows, then select mixed, text, integer, decimal, or boolean values.
- Choose whether to include a header row and select Generate CSV.
- Review the result, then copy it or download a CSV file.
Choose a useful sample shape
Generate mixed values or focus on text, integers, decimals, or booleans. The optional header uses column_1, column_2, and so on. Text samples include punctuation and embedded line breaks to exercise common CSV readers.
CSV escaping and local generation
Fields containing commas, quotation marks, or line breaks are quoted, and quotation marks inside a field are doubled. Random values are generated in this browser and are not uploaded. The output is sample data, not a source of production credentials or cryptographic secrets.
Practical browser limits
The generator accepts up to 100 columns, 10,000 data rows, 50,000 cells, and a 2 MB result. Large outputs can use browser memory while they are generated and previewed.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does it upload my generated data?
No. The values and CSV are created locally in your browser.
Are the random values suitable for passwords or secrets?
No. This tool makes convenient sample data for development and demos; do not use it to create passwords, keys, tokens, or other security-sensitive values.
How are commas and line breaks represented?
The affected fields are enclosed in double quotes, and any double quote inside a field is doubled, following common CSV escaping rules.
Can I make a headerless file?
Yes. Clear Include a header row before generating the CSV.
