A local browser workflow
The selected video is read, decoded, and exported in this browser. No source media is uploaded or sent to a conversion server. The browser must be able to decode the video’s audio codec; standard MP4 and WebM files are usually the most portable choices.
Real PCM WAV output with clear limits
This tool writes a real uncompressed 16-bit PCM WAV from the decoded audio track. It supports mono and stereo audio at up to 96 kHz, source audio up to 15 minutes, 256 MB decoded PCM memory, and a 120 MB WAV. WAV can be much larger than the original compressed video.

Common questions
Will every video work?
No. The container must be MP4, WebM, Ogg video, or MOV, it must include audio, and your browser must support that audio codec. A video with unsupported codec or no audio track cannot be converted locally by this page.
What format is the download?
The result is a standard 16-bit PCM WAV. It is actual audio decoded from the selected video, not a renamed video file.
Does the video leave my device?
No. The video and its audio are decoded, previewed, and written to WAV locally in your browser.
