Fade Editor
Decode one browser-supported audio file locally, set fade durations, preview the result and download WAV.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Choose an audio file within the limits.
- Set fade-in and fade-out durations; their sum must not exceed the track length.
- Preview and export the processed 16-bit PCM WAV.
Linear sample envelope
The tool ramps each decoded sample from silence to full level during fade-in, keeps the middle unchanged, then ramps to silence during fade-out.
Local processing and output
One file up to 25 MB, 10 minutes, 96 kHz and 8 channels is decoded only after you click process. The output is a new little-endian 16-bit PCM WAV; source metadata and original encoding are not preserved. AudioBuffer and object URLs are released after use.
GOOD TO KNOW

Any format the browser can decode; MP3, WAV and M4A/AAC are common examples.
What if fades overlap?
Processing stops when fade-in plus fade-out exceeds the decoded duration.
Is audio uploaded?
No. Decode, preview and WAV encoding happen locally.
