AcroForm fields only
This tool reads standard AcroForm text fields and checkboxes. XFA forms, signatures, encrypted PDFs, and fields that cannot be represented by the supported PDF library are not filled or bypassed.
Real PDF output
The browser uses pdf-lib to update the existing PDF field objects and appearance streams, then downloads application/pdf bytes. You can keep the fields editable or flatten them into a display-only result.
Private and bounded
The selected file and entered values stay in this browser. One PDF up to 25 MB, 500 supported fields, and 10,000 characters per field are allowed. The tool does not upload, store, or share your document.

Common questions
What PDFs can I fill?
Use a standard AcroForm PDF with text fields or checkboxes. XFA, signed, encrypted, or image-only documents are unsupported.
Will the downloaded PDF still be editable?
Yes, unless you select Flatten fields. Keeping fields editable lets a compatible PDF reader change them later.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Parsing, field editing, preview, and download happen locally in your browser.
Why are there no fields?
The PDF may be a scan, use XFA, be encrypted, or contain no standard AcroForm fields. This tool cannot add fields or bypass those protections.
