A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose the sale end date and time in your browser’s local timezone.
  2. Preview the live hours, minutes, and seconds countdown and adjust the banner copy.
  3. Copy the HTML and CSS snippet into your banner or product page.

Browser local time

The date and time field uses the timezone configured in the browser. The copied widget also reads each visitor’s local clock, so set the end time with that behavior in mind.

Past and invalid dates are handled

The preview reports an invalid date when the input cannot be read and shows Sale ended when the selected time has passed. The copied widget uses the same checks and stops at zero.

No upload or backend

The countdown, preview, markup generation, and copying happen locally in this browser. The generated snippet has no external requests or dependencies.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Which timezone does the countdown use?

The date picker and countdown use the browser’s local timezone. The generated widget uses the local timezone of the person viewing the banner.

What happens after the sale ends?

The countdown reaches zero and the widget displays Sale ended. It does not continue into negative time.

Can I use the generated markup on a product page?

Yes. Copy both the HTML and CSS into a page that allows inline markup and styles, then replace the end date and text if needed.
