Grade Tracker
Add courses and user-defined assignments with weights and scores. Current and target estimates are calculated locally from your entries.
Blank scores are pending and excluded from the current average. Results are arithmetic estimates based on your entries.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Add a course and enter each assignment or exam with its weight.
- Leave a score blank for work that has not been graded yet.
- Review the normalized current grade and, when a target is set, the average needed on remaining work.
User-defined grading model
You choose the course items, weights, scores, and target. The tracker does not assume a school grading policy or assign academic outcomes.
Current grade and pending work
Current grade is Σ(score × weight) ÷ Σ(graded weight), where scores are percentages. Blank scores are pending and excluded from the current average.
Target estimate
When a target and remaining weight exist, needed average = (target − earned course points) ÷ remaining weight × 100. If the result is above 100%, the target is outside the entered 0–100 score range.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Do weights have to total 100?
No for the current grade estimate. The current grade is normalized by graded weight. The target estimate treats remaining weight as 100 minus graded weight.
How are ungraded items handled?
A blank score is pending: it contributes no earned points and is excluded from the current average until you enter a score.
Does this guarantee a final grade?
No. It is arithmetic based only on your entries and does not account for school rules, rounding, extra credit, or academic circumstances.
