A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Choose any file no larger than 2 MB.
- Inspect offsets in hexadecimal or decimal and select a visible byte to replace it.
- Download a new file containing every original byte plus visible edits.
Bounded byte editing
The editor keeps at most 2 MB in memory and renders no more than 256 rows. Editing is limited to the first 4,096 bytes, while download preserves later bytes.
Local and format-neutral
No file format is parsed or repaired. Every accepted file stays in this tab and the downloaded name gains an “edited” suffix.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Can this edit bytes after offset 4095?
No. Those bytes are preserved in the download but are outside this bounded editor window.
Does it decode file structures?
No. It exposes raw byte values only and does not validate the resulting format.
