Use the standard WiFi QR format
The generator encodes the common WIFI:T:...;S:...;P:...;; format used by modern Android and iPhone camera apps. Special characters are escaped for the payload before the image is created.
Choose the network security
WPA/WPA2/WPA3 is the usual choice for home and office networks. Choose WEP only for older hardware, or None for an open network. Hidden networks can be marked so compatible scanners include that setting.
Your network details stay in this browser
The QR payload and PNG are generated locally. Network names and passwords are not sent to a server or saved by this page. Treat downloaded QR images like the credentials they contain.
