JSON to Markdown Table

Paste a JSON array of plain objects. Nested values are compact JSON; cell pipes, line breaks, and backslashes are escaped.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste a JSON array of plain objects up to 100,000 characters and 10,000 rows.
  2. Convert it and review the Markdown table output.
  3. Copy or download the Markdown without rendering it as HTML.

Defined input contract

The root must be an array containing only plain objects. Input is limited to 100,000 characters and 10,000 records. Columns are the union of keys in first-seen order.

Bounded nested values

Strings, numbers, booleans, null, arrays, and objects are kept as text; nested JSON is compact and limited to eight levels. Missing keys become blank cells.

Markdown text only

Cell pipes, line breaks, and backslashes are escaped for a Markdown pipe table. The result is shown as text and is never rendered as HTML; processing, copy, and download stay in the browser.
