Defined Unicode and line behavior
Lines containing the literal query are retained; an empty query matches every line. Unicode code points are counted with Array.from; extended grapheme clusters may contain multiple code points and are therefore not promised to remain together. Line filtering accepts LF, CRLF, and CR, preserves line text, blank lines, and the trailing empty line, and uses the first detected separator.
