A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste CSV, TSV, or Markdown pipe-delimited data.
  2. Choose the input format and whether the first row is a header.
  3. Generate, review, copy, or download the LaTeX tabular code.

Supported input formats

Auto detection accepts tab-separated values, comma-separated values with quoted fields, and Markdown pipe tables. You can also select a format explicitly. Markdown separator rows are skipped.

Safe, predictable output

Cells are escaped for LaTeX special characters, line breaks are normalized to spaces, and every row must have the same number of cells. The output uses a plain tabular environment with left-aligned columns and no external packages.

Local processing and limits

Parsing and generation happen entirely in your browser. Input is limited to 1,000,000 characters, 200 columns, 10,000 rows, and 100,000 cells.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Which row becomes the header?

When the header option is enabled, the first row is emitted in bold. Otherwise every row is emitted as ordinary data.

Are LaTeX special characters escaped?

Yes. Characters such as &, %, $, #, _, {, }, and backslash are escaped so pasted values remain text.

Does this use any LaTeX packages?

No. The generated code uses only the standard tabular environment and hline.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Parsing and generation run locally in this browser.
