A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a supported image or use the generated sample.
  2. Set 6–60 cells across and jitter from 0 to 1, then regenerate the mesh.
  3. Review the faceted result and download a PNG.

Shared triangle mesh

Grid intersections are jittered once and reused by adjacent cells, preventing gaps. Every cell is divided into two triangles and each facet receives one sampled colour.

Local image limits

Inputs are limited to 20 MB, 10,000 px per side and 40 MP. Processing scales the working copy to at most 1,600 px on its longest side and 4 MP; output is PNG and source metadata is not retained.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does it trace object edges?

No. Detail follows a jittered grid rather than semantic objects or detected edges.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Decoding, sampling, rendering and PNG creation happen in this browser.
