A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Paste one pipe-delimited Markdown table with a header and separator row.
- Choose comma, semicolon, or tab, then convert and review the CSV.
- Copy or download the CSV output.
Markdown table rules
One table must contain a header row and a separator row. Optional outer pipes are accepted, alignment markers are ignored, and escaped pipes (\|) stay inside their cell.
CSV output
Cell edges are trimmed. The selected delimiter is comma, semicolon, or tab. Fields containing the delimiter, a quote, or a line break are wrapped in double quotes; internal quotes are doubled.
Local limits
Parsing, copying, and downloading happen in your browser. Input is limited to 1,000,000 characters, 200 columns, 10,000 data rows, and 100,000 data cells. A line break inside a Markdown cell is not a supported table row construct; literal line breaks that reach a cell are preserved and CSV-quoted.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Can I choose a delimiter?
Yes. Choose comma, semicolon, or tab before converting.
Are Markdown alignment markers exported?
No. The separator row only confirms the table and its alignment markers are omitted.
Are values converted to numbers?
No. Cell values remain text, so identifiers, leading zeros, and dates are preserved.
Is my table uploaded?
No. Parsing and CSV generation run locally in this browser.
