A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Choose up to 50 JPEG photos within the batch limits.
- Shift wall-clock dates by a fixed offset or set one exact date and select existing EXIF fields to update.
- Review the table, then download one JPEG or a ZIP; optionally save the manifest.
Narrow JPEG EXIF support
The parser handles common JPEG APP1/Exif TIFF structures and existing 20-byte ASCII DateTimeOriginal, DateTimeDigitized, and IFD0 DateTime values. Files without a usable existing date are skipped; it does not create tags or edit XMP, IPTC, GPS, maker notes, filesystem dates, RAW, HEIC, PNG, or TIFF.
Wall-clock adjustment
Offset mode adds signed days, hours, minutes, and seconds to the stored calendar text without applying timezone or daylight-saving conversion. Exact mode writes the same wall-clock value to every supported selected field.
Local byte-preserving edit
Each input is limited to 20 MB; at most 50 files and 200 MB total are accepted. Only selected EXIF date bytes are changed. JPEG scan data and other bytes are copied as-is; a multi-file result uses the site’s existing JSZip 3.10.2 dependency.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Does this change the image quality?
No image pixels are decoded or recompressed. Only bytes in supported existing EXIF date fields are replaced.
What happens when a date tag is missing?
That tag is left absent. A file with no usable supported source date is listed as skipped.
Are photos uploaded?
No. Parsing, rewriting, ZIP creation, and manifest generation stay in this browser.
