    A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

    How to use this tool

    1. Paste up to 100 lines and 20,000 characters of English verse.
    2. Run the scan to estimate syllables and compare four repeating foot patterns.
    3. Review line-level confidence and copy the analysis for manual correction.

    English heuristic

Uses spelling-based vowel groups, a small exception list, and function-word hints. Pronunciation, elision, names, dialects, and poetic substitutions can differ.

    Pattern comparison

Compares estimated syllables with iambic, trochaic, anapestic, and dactylic templates, then reports the smallest mismatch and foot count.

    Local limits

Input is limited to 20,000 characters, 100 nonblank lines, and 400 words per line. Analysis stays in this browser.
