[minimum, maximum), up to 100 values. Seeded output is repeatable; unseeded output is not a security random source.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Enter minimum and maximum values, with minimum less than maximum.
  2. Choose 1–100 values and optionally set 0–12 decimal places or a numeric seed.
  3. Generate, copy, or download the local result.

Bounded local generation

Values are sampled in the half-open interval [minimum, maximum), then rounded to the selected decimal places. Count is limited to 100 and values are generated in this browser.

Seed and security limits

An optional seed uses a small deterministic pseudo-random generator for repeatable examples. Without a seed, the page uses crypto.getRandomValues when available and falls back to Math.random; neither mode is suitable for passwords, tokens, gambling, security decisions, or regulated randomness.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Are the bounds included?

The minimum can be returned; the maximum is an exclusive upper bound before rounding, so rounding can display the upper value in some cases.

Does the same seed repeat?

Yes, with the same minimum, maximum, count, and decimal places.

Is this cryptographically secure?

No. Unseeded mode prefers browser crypto for better entropy, but this tool is not a security or compliance random source.

Are values uploaded?

No. Generation, copying, and TXT download happen locally.
