Random TSV Generator

Create tab-separated sample data for imports, demos, and development. Choose the table shape, optionally enter a seed, then copy or download the result.

Random TSV settings

Values are generated locally. A seed repeats the same sample; a blank seed uses browser pseudo-randomness. This is not cryptographic randomness. Limits: 100 columns, 10,000 rows, 50,000 cells, and 2 MB.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Choose the number of columns and data rows, and optionally enter a seed.
  2. Choose whether to include a header row, then generate TSV.
  3. Review the result, then copy or download it.

Repeat a sample when useful

Enter a seed to reproduce the same rows and columns later. Leave it blank for a fresh result from browser pseudo-randomness.

Local sample values

Values are generated in this browser and are not uploaded. The generator does not claim cryptographic randomness and is not suitable for passwords, keys, tokens, or fairness-critical decisions.

Practical browser limits

The generator accepts up to 100 columns, 10,000 data rows, 50,000 cells, and a 2 MB result.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does it upload generated data?

No. TSV values are generated locally in your browser.

Does a seed make this cryptographically secure?

No. A seed only makes the sample repeatable; the generator is for sample data, not secrets.

Can I omit the header?

Yes. Clear Include a header row before generating.
