CSV-aware parsing preserves commas, escaped quotes, and line breaks inside quoted fields. Empty input has no records, so the result is empty.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Paste CSV text up to 2 MB.
  2. Remove the first parsed record.
  3. Review and copy the CSV output locally.

CSV-aware records

Commas, escaped double quotes, and line breaks inside double-quoted fields are parsed as one record. Output fields are quoted when needed and escaped quotes are doubled.

Empty and malformed input

Empty input has no records and produces empty output. An unclosed quote or unexpected character after a closing quote is rejected with an error; no partial output is returned.

Local limits

Input is limited to 2 MB, 50,000 records, and 500 fields per record. Processing stays in the browser; application-specific dialects and encodings are not detected.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

What if the CSV has only a header?

The only record is removed, so the output is empty.

Are quoted line breaks preserved?

Yes. A line break inside a quoted field stays inside that field.

What happens with malformed quotes?

The tool reports the parser error and leaves the result empty.

Is my CSV uploaded?

No. Parsing and serialization happen locally in your browser.
