Literal prefix removal
The exact prefix is removed from nonblank lines. With “only if present” enabled, nonmatching lines remain unchanged; when disabled, the same number of leading characters is removed.
Preserved structure
Blank lines and LF, CRLF, or CR line endings remain unchanged. Input is limited to 50,000 characters and output to 500,000 characters.
