Remove specific words
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
How to use this tool
- Enter up to 100,000 UTF-16 characters and the literal word or phrase.
- Choose substring or whole-word matching and whether case matters.
- Remove all non-overlapping matches, then copy or download the result.
Literal matching
The search value is always treated literally; regular-expression syntax has no special meaning. Substring mode matches anywhere. Whole-word mode requires Unicode letter, number, mark, and underscore boundaries.
Predictable text handling
All non-overlapping matches are removed. Surrounding punctuation, whitespace, line endings, and every other character remain in their original order. Matching can be case-sensitive or case-insensitive.
Local limit
Processing, copying, and TXT download happen in this browser. Text is limited to 100,000 UTF-16 code units and the search value to 10,000.

Is the text uploaded?
No. Processing stays in the browser.
