Line-ending detection
CRLF, LF, and CR are detected explicitly, including mixed input. Each line-ending sequence is replaced once; ordinary carriage-return or newline characters are not treated by a regular expression.

Yes. The tool detects all three and can process mixed line endings.
Is the separator a regular expression?
No. It is inserted as literal text, or you can choose one space.
