A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How to use this tool

  1. Add named scenarios and route legs.
  2. Choose fixed or periodic rests and endpoint treatment; enter every visible value.
  3. Calculate and review every leg, cumulative time, averages and exact report.

Rest model

Periodic rests count global driving-time multiples; the final exact multiple follows your endpoint choice. Inverse mode uses fixed rests and solves one common km/h speed for all legs.

Calculation model

Exact distance/speed; 1 mi = 1.609344 km. Frequency uses cumulative driving hours. Fixed rests and fixed stops are allocated to the final leg for accounting; that allocation does not describe their real location. Inverse mode solves a common speed after fixed stops. Repeating decimals are exact fractions.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

What does inverse mode solve?

It subtracts entered fixed stops from the elapsed budget, then divides total normalized distance by the remaining driving hours. Zero distance is nonunique; insufficient time is infeasible.
