Local inspection
HTML is parsed in an inert template and is never inserted into the page or executed. No page fetch, upload, crawler simulation or server is involved.
Preview limits
Length warnings use editorial guidelines of 70 title characters and 200 description characters, not platform limits. Images are not measured. Remote HTTPS image loading is optional and sends a request to that host.

No. Platform crawlers, caches and layouts may differ; this only approximates the supplied tags.
Does it fetch a URL?
No. Paste View Source HTML or select a saved HTML file. Referenced images are requested only after you enable remote images.
