GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Does each visible character always produce one number?

Each Unicode code point produces one number. A displayed grapheme such as a family emoji may contain several code points.

Are emoji supported?

Yes. Valid surrogate pairs are combined into their Unicode code point; unpaired surrogates are rejected.

Can the result be used by the decimal-to-string converter?

Yes for values in its ASCII range. This tool can output larger Unicode code points that an ASCII-only decoder cannot read.
