How to use this tool
- Enter text up to 1 MB.
- Choose 1–10,000 lines per chunk and a literal separator.
- Chunk and join the lines, preserving empty and trailing lines.
Fixed groups, stable boundaries
Lines are read in CRLF, LF, or CR form. The requested number of lines is placed in each group, including empty and trailing lines; no line is discarded.
Literal local processing
The separator is inserted as literal text inside each chunk. Chunks are separated by LF, input is limited to 1 MB, and processing stays in the browser.

Common questions
Is this the same as joining all lines?
No. It first groups consecutive lines by the selected chunk size, then joins each group.
Are empty or trailing lines preserved?
Yes. Empty fields from the line split count toward a chunk, including a final trailing line.
What separates chunks?
Chunks are separated by a single LF in the output.
